Amigurumi Fish Bone

Finally I can present to you my pattern again. First, I wanna tell you that my English is not good but I hope you could understand if my words, sentences, or my grammar is not right. I tried to write the pattern in English because most of visitors of my blog are from different country with me so i want all of you also can make the stuff using my pattern. Second, please tell me if i make mistake in my pattern. And the last, here we go....! Lets crochet....

Abbreviations: 
sc: single crochet    
ch: chain
St: Stitch
Inc : increase
sl st : slip stitch
F/O: Fasten off

Materials:
2 mm crochet hook
Green and white yarn
Needle for sewing
Stuff
Doll eyes

Note: work in continuous round
 
Head:
Green Yarn
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 6 sc
R2: inc, rep 6x (12)
R3: sc, inc, rep 6x (18)
R4: sc around (18)
R5: 2sc, inc, rep 6x (24)
R6: sc around (24)
R7: 3sc, inc, rep 6x (30)
R8-9: sc around (30)
F/O leave long tail for sewing
 
Tail:
Green yarn
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 6 sc
R2: inc, rep 6x (12)
R3: sc, inc, rep 6x (18)
R4-5: sc around (18)
Make sure the yarn position is in the right side to start next round.
R6: ch 3, sl st to next st (front and back st count as 1 st), repeat until  the tail is closed

Center Bone:
White yarn
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 4 sc
R2: inc, rep 4x (8)
R3-R22: sc around (8)
Stuff the bone every 5 or 10 rounds
F/O leave long tail

Small bone:
White yarn
Front (make 2):
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 4 sc
R2: inc, sc, rep 2x (6)
R3-6: sc around (6)
F/O leave long tail


Middle (make 2):
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 4 sc
R2: inc, sc, rep 2x (6)
R3-5: sc around (6)
F/O leave long tail

Back (make 2):
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 4 sc
R2: inc, sc, rep 2x (6)
R3-4: sc around (6)
F/O leave long tail

Assembly:

  • Sew mouth on the head with white yarn
  • Stuff the head but don’t too much, then sew the head, put the center  bone in middle of the head, continue sewing
  • Sew the tail to the bone
  • Sew the small bones (front, middle and back) to the center bone
  • Glue the eyes on right and left side of the head

You have finished your fish bone.

I added keychain on its head as my husband request. Enjoy the pattern.
